Its purpose is simple: demonstrate that you can safely execute all foundational stunt skills, and you're cleared to book directly into our training and workshops.Foundational stunt skills cover the core safety fundamentals every NZSS practitioner must meet before advancing — things like safe falling technique, hits and sells, acrobatics, movement, kicks, sword flow. You don't need a professional filming setup. A clear, steady shot of the required skills is all we need. We'll confirm the specific foundational skills you need to demonstrate on camera.Step 2 — Film your skills Record yourself performing the required skills.Film from a clear angle so our instructor can properly assess your technique. You can do multiple takes — just submit your best footage.Step 3 — Submit for reviewSend your video through the submission link we provide. Our stunt instructor will personally review your footage against the required standard.Step 4 — Receive your resultWe'll get back to you with the outcome and any relevant feedback. You can now book directly into any NZSS stunt training session or workshop — no beginner prerequisites required.Not yet ready: Your submission didn't meet the required NZSS standard this time.
